Just my opinion: There are both not worth the money. If you really need an optical drive you're better off with an external one.

A decent optical drive that's compatible and won't crap out on a mac is about the same price. Plus, you sacrifice portability

Get an external drive. More flexible that way, and you can use it in other units.
