Suzuki GSXR 1000 front rim play
I recently bought a GSXR 1000 K2. Today I put new tyres but realised that the front axle tightens but does not lock the wheel in position. There is about 5mm play ont the rim from side to side. I suspected a missing spacer but according to Suzuki the K 2 and K4 does not have a spacer to secure the wheel into place. I could only secure the wheel once I put the calipers in place. It doesn't seem right, what am I doing wrong? Please help.

I have a brother who is also in the same boat.
I have searched the net but can not come to a sulutio. Except that there is no spaces in that model bike. Personally does not look safe if the rim slides side to side and that the brake calabers have to centre the rim..
