No screen output after water damage

Hi everyone ,

I'm trying to repair my water damaged note 5 , i removed the back panel and inspected the mother board.

There is no screen output when plugged into power however there is a quite whining noise coming from the mother board

Any ideas what to do next or is it most likely stuffed

i was thinking of buying a new screen and installing that however i'm worried that there is a more major problem as there is a whining noise coming from the logic board
