Why wont my phone power on when the proximity sensor is plugged in
my phone will power on when the proximity sensor is not plugged in,
when it is plugged in, it will not power on...
any idea?

Probably a bad proximity cable?
Replace it.

i got a bucket of them, every single one doesnt work
Try a known working one then?
