When reading this, please consider I'm 77 y.o. with no tech. savy. Does 'up to 64 gb' also mean 'up to and including 64 gb' I don't won't to puchase a 64gb card to find it's useless. If 64gb card WON'T work in the phone, how else can it be expanded to 64gb as BLU advertises. If it WILL work, great! but wouldn't phone then have a total of 68gb; 4 internal and 64 on card? Sorry, but just failing to understand.

According to the specs sheet it will take a 64GB card. The memory will be more like 64+4. The 4GB on the phone is where you will find the operating system etc. But you will be expanding the storage of files like pictures etc.

I have 64GB uSDXC card in BLU Adv HD 5.0 & works fine. Not plug & play. Card must be formatted internal to act as extended mem for built-in mem. If phone already set up, backup all to "Google Drive" (gmail account) before action. Use format feature in phone - format internal. Then go to settings, apps, go through installed apps & move allowed apps to card. Go to Play Store, your installed apps & update apps ONE at a time - NOT all at once. As updated, may need to move again from hard memory to card. Be sure data is intact. If not, recover from cloud (google drive) immediately. If you have automatic backup set, it can overwrite data with no data. It's a process, when complete, you'll have internal usable memory of 66.67GB (approximately). If apps routinely moved to card, will not run out of space. Card is not "removable storage" anymore. It will not read in other devices. To make readable elsewhere, it won't work in phone & you lose data. Best to do this when phone is new & blank. Card becomes part of phone.

Addendum: My BLU Advance HD 5.0 phone came with 8GB internal, so if you have the 4GB version, you will have more like 62.67GB total. Also, to transfer files without removing the uSDXC card, you can set up WiFi and/or Bluetooth transfer. Bluetooth works well for smaller files, WiFi for large files. Just remember to turn off discovery mode for security after the devices you want are in your list. If your PC has no Bluetooth, a dongle is cheap now. (Dlink is sufficient, but I prefer Netgear). BLU phones are tricky because the documentation is severely lacking. But Android is Android, so most things Android can be set up like generic. But do not root your phone unless you are an expert yourself. Headaches and all, you are better off with the proprietary firmware and software it came with. I have a few phone shaped paperweights as proof. Some can never be "unbricked."
