SATELLITE PRO R50-B-12P bios password reset?
hello! I have been trying to get an old laptop working but it's got a password black with white writing screen just after the Toshiba logo right on start up so I'm thinking bios password. But I cannot find a reset method anywhere. I've tried the usual stuff. Removing battery from mother board backdoor passwords etc. But nothing. I'm guessing I need to jump two connections but there are basically hardly any labels. Anyway here's a photo of each side of the mobo:
The nearest thing I've found is a tiny chip with g2 on it possibly here but still unsure... it's right next to the white plastic fan socket:
So any ideas? Thanks!
Update (05/19/2017)
Well this possibly might be the chip...
And I found this but I'm so not sure:

I'm hoping there's a way to short / reset it but I guess there's also replacing it.
Esta é uma boa pergunta?

Im stumped. Maybe contact Toshiba and see if they can tell you where it is. There are a bunch of pads on the board and anyone of them could be it, but if you short the wrong ones, you could damage the board.
