Solução escolhida

If the home button cable itself is ripped, the only way to have the Touch ID function work again is to have Apple replace it. A replacement home button will give you home button functionality but not Touch ID. If it's just the extension cable that's on the thermal plate that is damaged, that can easily be replaced and will restore home button and Touch ID functionality.

Hi Ty S,

Here is a guide on how to do the replacement. You may have to have the repair done by Apple in order to keep the touchID feature.

If the cable was damaged by the one who repaired the phone then have the repair done by that repair guy . Anything I break while repairing a phone I fix as it should be with all repairs . The home button can be replaced but the touch function has to be done by Apple
