Tablet keeps switching off and I then get Acer logo on the screen?
My Acer tablet keeps switching off and then I get Acer logo on screen .And it also know all over the place ,what can. Do ?

My battery is usually kept fully charged ,so I don't think it's that ,although I am a pensioner and not very well up on technology speak !!!

Acer ripped us all off. If you open up the tablet, you will see that they added tape to hold the connectors that the battery is connected to, which in my eyes are made too short. This means the connection barely reach and thus shuts off the tablet. I tried to adjust the battery inside to fix this but it is also too short on the bottom where it connects. After playing with the wires I fixed it with a lot of tape to hold the connection in place, I don't know why the company is too cheap to add a couple millimeters to the battery wires so this doesn't happen?

InAcer A1-830 Manual below steps are given to fix this issue:
- Power off the tablet.
- Press and hold the Volume up button.
- With the Volume up button held, press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds then release it. Continue holding the Volume up button.
- Once the tablet vibrates, switch the touch screen lock switch on and off repeatedly while still holding the Volume up button.
- Release the Volume up button and stop switching the touch screen lock switch once the "Erasing Userdata..." message appears in the upper left corner of the screen.
- Once the factory reset has been completed your tablet will load to the welcome screen.
- Your factory data reset is complete. Now follow the onscreen steps to setup your tablet.

I can assure you after attempting this in excess of 10 times that it DOES NOT WORK. Tablet completes requested tasks, but when reboot command is implemented the tablet does not start up. Instead, the screen flickers repeatedly until the tablet just shuts off completely. Occasionally the tablet will even go far enough as to let you begin set-up, but once again the tablet shuts off. There's clearly a problem with these devices and those of us having this issue need actual assistance instead of basic hard reset information that anybody can find on the internet.
Truly. And I can attest to that as it also happens to my Acer Iconia tab regularly. This product is really a mess. I urge the public to never ever buy Acer products in particular, their tablets again.
tried this option a thousand times but tab still turns off and on by itself and once it reaches the acer logo it turns off again
