Hi All,
I have an iPhone 6 here which is stuck in a very obscure boot loop. The video should demonstrate it. However, If i force reset it (lock screen and home button) it will boot normally to the lock screen for a couple of minutes, before going back to its boot loop without being touched.
Any known ways of fixing this?

Nope, couldn't get it working at all. After a while of non usage it would work for a bit before glitching. I think it needed the solder heating and re-melting, however not sure.
I ended up selling it for parts which resulted in the best solution.

What happened to the phone for it to get stuck in the boot loop? Was it repaired, fall in water or something else?
You could try to download ReiBoot or 3uTools to see if they recognize the phone. If you have a recent backup, then you could also try a DFU Mode Restore (you will lose your data).

Only the normal drops of daily usage, no water damage or anything else. Did get taken to Apple who were clueless about it.

Backup data if you can first then try updating the phone via iTunes.

@benjamen50 , see there's another one of those boot loopers. There doesn't seem to be any consistent reason why this happens.

Yeah seems to be a common occurance on iOS 10 especially. I have no idea why it happens other than unstable OS.

I think we've covered this before. It sounds like Apple is doing this intentionally. Or another one of their mistakes. Haha. Same thing!
