I recently replaced my cracked screen as directed on this site. Everything went great then yesterday my backlight quit working. If I hold it in the sun or under a lamp or flashlight i can still use it. How do I fix this?

recheck connector 1-it may have come loose. it is a bit tricky sometimes and pops off when you close the screen

Yeah, connector #1 is pretty funny. I find it helps line up the screen with the phone's internal frame before I plug it in.
Also, it could be that the LCD itself died. It's pretty rare that the images show up without the backlight.
