I replaced my MacBook keyboard and now it won't power on, why?

Hi everyone. My macbook's keyboard was broken for a few months and I decided to repair it.

I follow this tutorial here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0L38wDZ...

just fine, however, now I can't power on my macbook.

My logic board looks like this: http://imgur.com/a/cOb7C

If I plug in my charger, it goes from green to orange. The fans turn on and my laptop will make it to the user log in (and my keyboard works here), then shuts off like a timer is ticking. It'll restart and keep going in this cycle until I take the charger out. When I take the charger out, it completely dies. I can't even power it on without the charger.

Also note, I have taken it apart and put it back together 3 times to make sure I have not missed anything. The result is always the same. Do you think I fried something on the logic board by accident?

The tape near the battery connectors are lifted up because they were in the way of some screws - not a big deal.

All my cables look fine, the keyboard works, but where did I go wrong?

How did the keyboard get damaged?

por

@dan It was liquid damage. However I was able to use the laptop just fine for the few months afterwards.

Unplug charging cable if you haven't already, then battery, the keyboard ribbon cable and then plug the magsafe charger in and see if it can stay on and boot.

@benjamen50 If I unplug the battery & keyboard cables, then insert the charger... my display turns on but says my battery is low and then the screen fades.

Try doing it with the battery plugged in this time and see if it can stay on the login screen without turning itself off. The fans are not spinning loud right?
