iPhone 5C wont turn on anymore.

Hi!

I have had my Iphone 5c for over 2 years now, however have upgraded to an iphone 6s and have subsequently left my 5c alone for a few months. Before this, the iphone ran just fine, no problems with battery life or charging. However i've gone to try and turn the 5c back on but it won't!

I've tried charging it for 24 hours, hard resetting, plugging into a computer (but itunes doesn't appear). Really don't know what to do with it and would appreciate any suggestions!!

Its very possible that the battery discharged to absolute zero, which would mean the phone can't boot up. This is probably a problem with the power IC, since the phone should still charge. Chances are that if you swap the battery with one that has a charge, your phone will work fine as long as you don't let it run down to zero charge again. If that isn't acceptable, the power IC can be replaced. Its not a cheap fix though and if it were me, I'd just make sure to not let it go below 10%.
