display start on aand off sometimes just a couple of minute after power on, sometimes takes a while like one or two hours .

Mario what exact model is it? The display turns off but the audio is still on? Or does the whole TV turn off? Does it come right back on or do you have to wait before the dispaly comes back on?

Hi oldturkey03 thanks for the reply, video and audio turn on and off but the power light still on. Yes it does come back on after just a few seconds. the model number is KDL-40V4000.

Mario, have you tried different inputs? HDMI and the rest one at a time?
