What can be damaged beside LCD when phone takes a impacts

I own a small reputable repair shop will all OEM parts, certified Techs with all state of the art equipments and safety gears. We still come across customers complain for other defects beside LCD. Now I know they are not due to our workmanship but previouse heavy internal damage caused by initial impact. My question is what kind of internal damages could already done and how can I protect my self ?

Get them to sign a disclaimer. It should say something like. You are not responsible for any previous damage caused by drops and water damage. It should also state any warrenty is only on replaced parts. I suggest you talk to a lawyer or paralegal.

Bullet holes in a phone are bad indication that repair is not feasible nor do you really want to do business with the people that put them there.

Have a form made up that the tech test all the parts of the phone prior to the repair; examples the mics, speaker, power button, home button, Touch ID, sensors and the list goes on and test these infront of the customer. test all those same items and have customer sign that all those parts are working after the repair and warranty the screen for whatever you offer.

We do that some time when the condition allows. In most case the LCD are cracked so most functions are disable but maybe volume button. After repairing the LCD if any function don't work we get blame for. Trying to find ways to have some kind of preventive measures
