Driver side low beam headlight replaced but still won't light

Having put in new bulb and still no light, I noticed turn signals not working in 2005 Nissan Altima (my wife's car, so I don't know if there was a problem prior). Ground wire gets a meter reading, but positive connector doesn't. I don't have a manual, so don't know what fuse to look at. Help!!!!

Most japanese automotive products have a legend on the fusebox cover(s) that shows what fuse goes to what circuits. The above PDF shows that there are fuses both under the hood and behind a small pop out panel in the lower dash area next to the drivers door.

If the problem is only in the drivers side headlamp, then you have a problem which is local only to that headlight circuit, because the fuse (or relay) for that circuit is in the same circuit as the passenger side light. Look for a connection problem at the headlamp itself. Usually, the circuit wires for the headlamps just loop directly from one headlamp to the other and first begins at the fuse or relay. In your case, if it loops first from passenger side then to driver side, you may want to check where it leaves the passenger side to be sure it follows through correctly to the drivers side.

The turn-signal problem is not related to the headlamp problem. They are on completely different circuits. You may find a blown fuse for the turn-signals, but fixing that will not solve the headlamp problem. Treat this as two separate problems and it will make trouble shooting easier.
