Which S5 screens compatible with G900F?

Hi, when trying to source a new screen for my G900F, I notice some advertisments state that the screens they're selling are compatible for several models (G900A, G900F etc) - however some advertisments state that a G900A screen is not compatible with a G900F!

Does anyone know, definitively, which screens will work in a G900F?

Thanks ☺

Any screen that is said to work on SM-G900 something then it works on all SM-G900 models.

Somewhat off-topic stuff away from question:

On Samsung phones you can be 80% sure that the charger ports will have to be the exact model or you will run into Wi-Fi / Reception issues and at worst charging issues (though I've never encountered this myself before).

For rear camera you definitely have to use the correct model number as camera has firmware that is different from other variants.

Same for antenna module too in some cases.

When screen comes without frame on samsung, most of the time it's compatible with a lot of models, but if it comes with the frame the compatibility with models drops as some may have different cut outs for logic board to fit with the component locations on the logic board.

Funny that you mention the model specific charge ports, yesterday I had a Straight Talk Galaxy S5 (model S902L) for a charging port replacement. I wasn't sure which port variant the phone used but I had 4 out of the 5 variants in stock so I figured I'd risk it and open up the thing to find out. Lo and behold, it contained the one variant I did not have in stock which was the Verizon (G900V) port. On a whim, I decided to compare the 4 variants I did have to the damaged Verizon variant I had just removed from the phone. I was thinking the Sprint version would be the most similar but to my surprise the T-mobile version was identical except for one single component, an extra contact spring in the bottom left corner. So, I took two seconds to desolder that component from its pad on the tmobile port and installed it in the phone. Then I tested wifi, bluetooth, and cellular signals and charging. It worked perfect! Closed it up, done

I'm hoping I can do what you did on Samsung Galaxy s2, s4 and s6. Thanks for the info.

I have a question. If i have an SM-G903M will a SM-G903F lcd be compatible with it?

por

better yet, never mind the same model phones that's pretty straight forward but what about a SM-G900 series digitizer.

would a J series screen work on the 900 series seeing it's the same layout

por

will the sm-g900f digitizer fit the sm-g903f model please
