My Dsi won't turn on!

Hi so today I was playing my ds game LEGO Harry Potter years 1-4. I had it open and not paused. I left it open as I distractedly scrolled through my instagram. It was working perfectly fine (my DSi that is) until it suddenly turned off. I just thought it turned off cause it was inactive or something. Only when I tried to turn it back on it will flash white on both screens and the LED will flash from blue to red then turn right off again. I took it off the chargee I tried to turn it on again and it would flash on and flash right back off exactly how I explained. Then I tried turning it on.after taking my game out and it would do the same thing. PLEASE HELP!! I really don't want to buy a new DSi as I have gotten so far on so many of my games and honestly I can't really afford a new Ds. Please help ASAP!!!!!
