9 A1267, MB382LL/A everything but lcd backlight working
I just got a used 24" LED Cinema Display. Everything works except for the LED backlight. By everything, I mean the sound, USB, camera, the LCD display...
I can shine a flashlight on the screen and see the display working, but there's no backlight.
i've checked and re-seated all cables, and I can't find anything fishy other than this VR. it seems to be a little brown around the solders, and the plastic protector on the back of the logic board has melted a bit directly beneath it. the regulator is the center one.
i've run through the apple troubleshooting flowchart, but i don't know where TP81 (test point) is.

ok, i found the diagram and tested the correct voltage at every point. i ran through both the BLANK/NO VIDEO and DEAD/NO POWER flowcharts, and everything tested ok. at this point, i'll have to assume i've got a bad function cable, or bad LED backlight?
