Why is my phone stock on welcome screen

my blu dash x plus freeze while using it, it then turned off by it self turn back on and and states android upgrading i left it went to bed and in the morning when i tuned it on i am only getting the black and white home screen, this phone was released in October 2015 i am confused as to what went wrong and how can it be fixed
