Polarizer film question, are all the same for every phone?

Hello there, I've started refurbishing and repairing various smartphones like iPhones, Galaxys, LGs, Huaweis etc... and I was looking for an answer to this question:

Are the polarizer films the same for every smartphones (inches apart)?

For example: can I put an iPhone 6 PLUS polarizer on a iPhone 5 LCD (by cutting it with a sharp knife or a scalpel)?

By doing this we (refurbishers) could buy a package of 50 or 100 polarizer films for iphone 6 plus and apply them onto smaller screens.
