13 Can I replace the brown ribbon attached to the display?
I notice that the brown ribbon attached to the LCD display is broken. Is there anything I could do to replace it?

Great question, unfortunately you can not replace the ribbon. The reason is that the display and digitizer are fused together making it difficult to repair. Therefore, you will have to buy a new LCD display.
