purchased a new batter and installed. At first it work but the length of charge seemed short. It progressively shortened to the point that if it is not plugged in the screen only shows the apple logo and shuts back off. Once plugged in, the battery percentage changes as it charges and everything works. I have left the phone charging for up to 12 hours and it does not help.

does the apple logo appears when you plug in the battery or the battery symbol?
if the apple logo appears it could be that the phone doesn't recognize the battery. maybe there is something wrong with te battery connector

apple logo, vibrates twice then goes to the lock screen

The battery charge percent is climbing the longer it is plugged in
