I bought a new battery from this website and it won't charge.... I'm inclined to chalk it up to my lack of knowledge before I declare it a dud and send it back. Any ideas?
Try others battery
or try reset SMC
how to :
-Shut down the computer (again, full-on off here)
-Disconnect the MagSafe plug from the machine
-Remove the battery
-Press the power button for 5 seconds and release
-Put the battery back in and reconnect the MagSafe cord
-Turn your machine back on with the power button

That did the trick, thank you so much! Is it normal that the estimated charge left on a new fully charged battery is only 1:25?
