A part fell out when removing the logic board. It is about 3/8", 9mm, long, and appears to have an internal thread.
Any help in finding where it goes would be appreciated, thanks.

In step 25 photo, this piece appears at top center of iPhone 4S frame.

Thanks for trying, but that is the clip for the rear camera. Thispart is different.
The piece in the photo is not the red square part. It is exactly like I describe. " this piece appears at top center of iPhone 4S frame." Look at the photo, not the red square.
My apologies for my lack of understanding...you are correct, thank you! Problem solved...I should buy you a few at the SLO brewery but I'm in TX.
