Cartridge does not fit the console.

It feels like... loose.

Like the console does not grab very well the cartridge.

For that reason most of my games dont work (blinking screen).

You can go on EBAY and purchase one for 7.49, free shipping. I just purchased one last week and replaced one in my old nintendo that would not work at all...now it works perfect. Yes, they can be too tight, but you can take an older game or any game and spray a little bit of wd40 to loosen up the connector until it is good to go. Another great investment are the game screw tools that you can buy on ebay...i think 6 bucks for 2 sizes. Instead of using alcohol, use an ERASER. This works AMAZING. Hope this helped.

You can disassemble the NES and replace the existing cart loader with a female-female 72pin connector. You'll probably be able to find one on the net with a little searching. Otherwise you can use a jewelers screwdriver to bend the old contacts down a bit. This is a well known issue. There is a lot of information on the net.

You definitely do not want to mess with bending the pins. 72 Pin Connectors can be repaired IF you really know what you are doing, but even then just bending the pins back into place will only work until they bend back. If you've ever messed around with metal, you know it is much easier to bend it a second time. Much better off going with a new 72 pin connector. They are available for under $10 at any nintendo repair site.

There are parts available on ebay to fix this. Called a nes cartridge connector.

Be careful of some replacement cart connectors as they can actually be too tight and damage the cartridge edge connector (PC-board). Try cleaning the cart connector with alcohol first or bending the pins slightly with a screwdriver. I did this with mine and the original connector is now operating much more reliably. I hope to avoid replacing the part as long as possible.

You should probably look online for a replacement 72-pin connecter. If something is loose or broken it could make the cartridge fit on looser (perhaps from loss of pins.)
