Screen cracked phone not going on?

My BB 9900 fell off my cars roof while i was driving and screen completely shattered but as soon as i put the battery in the phone the phone has a soft slow vibration ? And my gf says it is so weak of a vibration ?

Just kidding but really now what might this be because i dont want to pay to fix the screen if the phone is wasted !!
