Try to start it without batteries, but with a Power supply. Something like this: https://www.konsolenkost.de/gameboy-colo...
If this won't work, your logic-board doesn't work. if it start with the typical "Gameboy BLING" but the Logo of the gameboy is not there, you must check the connection of the ribbon cable, that goes into the logicboard.
If there is a problem with the Batteriecontacts, you can try to grind it with abrasive Paper and try to start it, again.

What have you tried? New battery? Checked for power? What have you checked? Anything happened to your GBA prior to this o did this just all of a sudden start?
