I reset to factory defaults. Apps were working fine until I tried to download them again that is when I recevived the message that my device wasn't compatible for this device.

Hi,
Have you tried updating the Google Play Store app?
Open the app, tap Settings, scroll down to Build Version, tap to enter. If there is an update option select it and allow it to update. Try to download an app and see if it works.
If it says it is already up to date, try the following: From Main Menu on phone go to Settings > Apps > swipe right to All > scroll down to Google Play Store, tap to enter, tap clear data. Try to download an app. Hopefully this may help you.

I tried, but it's still saying 'This app is incompatible with all of your devices.' . Is there anything I can do?
The I have the same incompatible with you device
i have the same problem. incompatble with my device. but my husband and daughter with same phone and same account have no problem. it all started when i recieved my catcher savings.

I downloaded APKMirror, and then used it to download Cash App, which was giving me difficulty due to seeing a message saying my device was not compatible. I was successful in downloading it.
Even tho you got it, here’s what I did, I downloaded an older version, and then I just updated it, I couldn’t believe all the screams and yells I wasted on suck an easy fix

But I already tried to update Google play store app but it does not work for me.
While searching the web, I followed MegeByte advice and try to remove Google Account and reconfigure it again, and luckily it works for me.

take off any apps that say incompatible with your phone and download again but do this on a pc and they will work fine.

uninstalling the app > navigate to google play store official website on the pc or Mac with the account currently signed in on the device on https://play.google.com/apps > search for the app you having problem with > click download you will be given option to choose from your linked device with the logged in account and will be remotely downloaded to the phone without asking for permission.

Same prob. Tried all things mentioned in this thread other than to redownload from a pc. My Sam Gal Tab 4 doesn't have a USB, VGA, HDMI, etc. port to connect to another device. SD card is all but once you eject the SD card the apps on it are never the same and often times are no longer acknowledged. But, the tablet itself is awesome! Very well made, it's as tuff as nails, it's still super fast, it's big enough to find/not lose, the font is large enough to see, the touch-screen and digitizer were built to perfection, I could go on forever! My main gripe is that it doesn't update itself to be current with the times and apps of today therefore almost everything is not compatible and the option to download is not even there. If anyone has any tricks that work pls let me know.
Hey guys. Just came on here as I am having issues with my Samsung Tab 4 due to it being modified and I purchased it from a seller on Mercari. The tablet is functional but isn't compatible with some app and because of the mods it won't let me update. Just thought I'd recommend a site I've been going to for years for tech help. The issue is not with your device. The issue is the version of Android that is running on your device. You can change the version of Android (to Version 7.01 or higher depending on your device). Version 7 and up are compatible with nearly all Android Apps. To upgrade you need the following.
IDIN to root the device
TWRP to install a new OS
LineageOS
Gapps 7.01 which is Android version 7.01 or higher depending on your device
There are a lot of videos that go through this process.
If your device is running Android 6 or less, it will be useful only as a paperweight short of playing some games and surfing the web. Might as well try the above. I did and it works.

New A11 Samsung yesterday. Haven't been able to use Skyview app in over a year on old device it used to work great on (Samsung Gslaxy Note 3). I'm starting to think the universe hates me. Maybe I'll take comfort seeing I'm not the only one banished.

I had this problem too. I couldn´t see a certain app on the play store on my phone, and play store said “not compatible with any of your devices“ on computer. This while my wife with the exact same phone and android version had no issues
I tried:
Remove data and cache for play store app on phone - did not work
Made a factory reset of my phone - did not work
This solution worked for me:
I created another google account (“for my company”), to get a fresh account. Added this account to my phone (you can have several connected to the same device). I closed and reopened play store on my phone (for store to associate the device with the account). In play store on the computer, with the new google account selected, I could see and install the app to my phone.
Problem seem to be a hang up in the google account. Probably some version of “resetting” your google account would work too, like removing associated devices and letting the google account “rediscover” your phone again

My device is tab A9 - Samsung! , it is so upsetting because when I tried to download genshin Impact it kept saying , "Your device is not compatible with this app"', I tried searching on Google on how to fix this problem but sadly it didn't work.I entered a lot of sites just to figure it out but I failed . I hope you guys can help me !!!!!

Go to your browser preferably chrome. Type in DraftKings apk the first choice pops up . Hit download.you can do this with any app on Android. Make sure you enable third party apps.

I had a problem with my Samsung Galaxy S7, some how my Groupon app was deleted and when I try to add it back it's says this version is not compatible with this phone. How ? I HAD it before. I send a message to Groupon and they said it should work, contact my cell phone provider and they said Groupon need to make this app compatible with this phone.
