Hello i recently bought a Ipad 2 digitizer and reapplied it and it will not stay on. I am going to take it back off and the lcd out to try cleaning the metal surface better. Should the adhesive thats already on the digitizer work even tho i already tried to apply it or should i somehow take it off and re apply a new adhesive??

I am going to assume you are talking about the Glass and digi together. If so and the glass is falling off, i would take off the old adhesive and use alcohol to clean the metal. With a clean surface it should stick better. If it is still falling off you can use some super glue around the frame to help keep it in place.

Sounds like it was supplied with poor adhesive. Your best option is to use 3M Heat activated tape which most repairers use on their repairs. It is easily removed with heat for future repairs. Don't use super glue.
