I think its the battery port
My iPod isn't charging with no charger not even the apple . Whats wrong ? What can i do ?

iMedic, anything in particular on those guides that the OP should try?
I'm gonna be honest, I have little to no interest in iPods. I was just trying to be helpful. Do you have any input? I know you know more about this stuff than me

Look inside the charge port for dirt or visual damage. If none, then problem is not likely the charge port. All lightning devices can have failure of the charging logic ic on the board from non-Apple charger usage.

Perhaps,it is either the cable/port that is malfunctioning or its the battery .

delilah, what makes you think it's the battery port? What have you checked? did you use a different cable? Does your computer detect your iPod when you plug it in?
