I am looking to open a small smartphone repair company on a part time bases at first. How could I locate a vendor to get parts from regularly? i understand i can get them from amazon or eBay. Is that the best way to do it?

First thing now is not the best time to start a phone repair business, screen prices are crazy expensive, leaving little profit. Just 5 months ago a iPhone 5c screen was $30 now that same screen is $70. The main thing you need to stay away from eBay or Amazon that stuff is all junk, you might save some money but that stuff you fix, will be returned. They used cheap refurbished parts which will only cause you problems. I would be willing to provide some help, if you plan on doing iPads replacement screen quailty is so important because using cheap stuff will result in dead spots and ghost touching on the screen, and a big pain in the butt. Angel, besides a great answer from tlemke4 I'd suggest that you take a look at this part of ifixit. That's where "the pro's" can help you out even further. The "Answers" part of this site (the one we are currently on) is where a bunch of people, like myself, volunteer their time to assist others with help and advice to repair their devices. Some of us are pro's as well, but you may get more of a supply chain answer on the linked site.
