My iphone 5s touch screen is somewhat crazy it just opens apps and get down and up simultaniusly but if i twist the phone it goes normal. What can be that?? A faulty screen digitizer or the touch ic on the logic board?? Any help would be great

I already changed the digitizer and still the same. When it doesnt work i twist the phone and it works again. I double checked connections and all are good and clean
Twist the phone? Now it's starting to sound like the touch IC

There is a couple things it could be a faulty digitiser or a loose connector

I am in the same boat, replaced the whole front digitizer assembly and phantom touches still are present. actually lost some functions with this as well.

*****Update***** after replacing my digitizer and the problem still persisted, it came down to the logic board. Buying the logic board was more than buying a used phone. I found a friend and bought his old phone instead.

Ok i took apart my phone and search on google about the problem and i found that for some reason the touch ic its not doing enough contact to the board. So cause i dont have any heat gun or tool to get to it i just mark the steel on top of it so it does a little pressure on the ic and now the touch is working. I will try later to get the metal top out and heat the ic to see if that resolve the problem for all cause im still getting some points with no touch.
