Won't charge or turn on

As with any no power devices, make sure to keep it plugged in for an hour or two, also good to make sure you're using a very good, proper, or original cable. The charging brick should hopefully be above the suggested Amperage for the MAXX. After an hour or two on the charger try powering it on, if nothing happens. try holding the Volume down and the Power button. I might boot into recovery mode, just use the volume buttons to move selection, and the power button to select normal boot.

Anything that may have lead to the device dying like this?
