pamela198047, try first to unplug the power cord, remove the battery and hold the the power button down for 60 seconds. Then connect the power supply and try to turn on the laptop. you can then reinstall the battery later. It is also possible that you need to disassemble your computer and take a look at the DC jack on the motherboard. See if it is still connected and check the components around the jack. This series is somewhat known to have short circuit issues around that jack.
