looking at a picture, screen went black and won't do anything now.

I was going thru some pictures and the screen went black all of a sudden and won't restart, show and lights or make any sounds or anything. I replaced the battery and tried to charge the phone I get no battery charging icon or anything. It's like the phone is not getting any power from anything. Does anyone have any suggestions or a repair for me to perform, please help I love this phone.

Hi,

Realize that your phone may be totally dead but it doesn't hurt to try the following:

When powered off, press and hold the Volume up, Home, and Power keys together.

Release the keys when you see "Recovery booting" at the top of the screen.

Press the Volume down key until wipe data/factory reset is highlighted, and then press the Power key.

Press the Volume down key until "Yes - delete all user data" is highlighted, and then press the Power key.

Press the Power key to select "Reboot system now".

Warning : If the succeeds all your user apps and user data will have been erased.

If it doesn't work try it with the charger connected and switched on
