i dropped my galaxy 10.0. It still worked fine (save for a small dark spot on the bottom of the screen) until I powered it off. When I powered it on, I could hear it but the screen never lit up.

You need to replace the screen or send it to your bone yard. Its just that simple. I had the same trubble with my LG L15G Sunrise phone when i droped it.

I pried the tablet open and reconnected the strap that had loosened when i dropped it. There was a YouTube video that walked me through
the process and that worked quite well! Thanks
