My Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 wont charge anymore.

I went to bed and my note was only a quarter charged and so I left it charging and yes it was off. When I woke up it was 0% charged. It will turn on for only a few seconds and only if it is plugged in. It's only just over a year old so is it a charger issue or battery? There was no red X on the battery icon.
