iPhone 4s screen replacement + battery problems.

Hi everybody I hope I can explain my problem pretty well.

I have replaced the screen of my iphone 4s for multiple times now and never had a problem. This time I also replaced the battery because it was slowly giving me problems. So I bought a custom transparent screen (just like my last one) and a new battery, replaced it and it felt like brand new.

But then, I noticed that my battery percentage wasn't going lower, it was stuck on 89% and wasn't dropping for 4 hours. So I wanted to restart my phone to see if it would update, and this is where the problems started.

My phone woulnd't respond untill I connected it to a power cable, the phone booted but now had a white ish layer over the normal screen ( I can post pictures later). It would also restart every 2 min or so and woulnd't charge any further then 2%.

So i put it down for a little while.

This morning I tried turning it on and it did! no problems, no white ish layer.

So I connected it to a charger because it only had 2% and left it for 4 hours, when I came back the white ish layer was back and when I disconnected the cable it didn't respond anymore.

Hope somebody knows what to do!

TL;DR: White ish layer in the screen of my phone when i charge it and non responsive if disconnected from power cable.

Try putting old battery back in? Sounds like your phone doesn't like it or the new screen. Seen this kind of thing before and that was the solution. But...might be something else

Put the old battery back in. Nothing happend, phone started buzzing every 30 sec. Came back to find it really hot and non responsive after 4 hours of charging.

I would replace the battery (or out the old one back in if you have it), and check if the problem still occurs. I have seen a lot of weird problems caused by a faulty battery.

Could be the new battery or pry damage to the logic board when you removed the old battery. Did you have much trouble getting the old battery out?
