iPhone 5 Restarts 2 second after pressing the on button

Hi All

I have an iPhone 5 that once i have pressed the on button the apple logo comes on the screen for 2 seconds then fades out and the phone reboots. it will continue to do this until i turn the phone off.

If i am quick with my timing i can get the phone into DFU mode and iTunes will detect it and start the recovery process, but as soon as the phone restarts and comes out of DFU mode the boot cycle starts again and iTunes eventually gives error 4005.

i have opened the phone and can not see anything that looks out of place. Does anyone have any tips to get this phone to boot??

Thank you in advance

Ross

Hello Friend.

When the phone don´t turn on, try these options.

Replace the battery, this can solve the problem, the malfunction of the battery, can influence that the phone does not start.

Try to turn on the phone without the battery is connected. Disconnect the battery, and connect iPhone into the charger and turn on iPhone. If he turn on usually is the battery problem.

If not turn on, connects new un dock connector, and turn on the iPhone, if turn on, the problem is the dock connector.

This problem is kind of boring.

Good job!

Thank you for the suggestion. I had tried everything except the dock connector. I have now tried changing it but without success. The same problem still occurs. Do you have any more suggestions?

The easiest way to tell if the problem is in the motherboard, is to remove the motherboard of the chassis, and connect the screen and the Dock connector, away from the chassis.

You try to connect the iPhone with the mother board, out of the machine.

if start and work, it means that some of the other pieces it is shorted.

You will have to get the part that it is short, and change.

If not start, then the problem is in the motherboard, then you will have to get someone to do repairs on motherboard.

Good Job!
