My ds will freez once you turn it on ( that happens most) or in mid game what do i do.
It may be the ds card reader because it freezes when you take it out so do you think that might be the problem?

This used to happen to my DS lite too. Something in the reader broke and DS game cards that would move around too much would cause the game to freeze while I was playing it. While not a perfect solution, I found that taping the games securely in place prevented this issue from continuing to happen.

The ds is getting old so it's best to repair it yourself, buy the motherboard for the ds of your compatibility and install the new one and replace the old one and viola your day runs like new and ready to Mario on. you will need a 3 point screwdriver.
