I just realized this evening that my audio service is not running,when i trouble shoot it, problems found, one or more audio services isn't running.
when i check under Sound item in control panel, it shows that
Digital display audio
AMD High Definition Audio Device is Not plugged in.
But i can't seem to find a possible solution
Any help will be appreciated..

If you haven't tried it already open the control panel, system, advanced system settings, environmental variables. Click new, set name to devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices and value to 1. Click ok, ok. Open device manager. Click show hidden devices. There should be an entry IDT driver. Right click and choose uninstall. Reboot. Go to hp.com and download the IDT audio driver for your HP. Run the driver to install it. Reboot. It should be working now.

I followed the steps you above , but when i opened the device manager i couldn't find the entry IDT driver.
