Solution: Find a q-tip. Insert the q-tip into the headphone jack of the iPhone. Swivel the q-tip around for a bit and clean the inside of the headphone jack. Once I did this, the problem was magically fixed!

Definitely check the headphone connector, but don't forget to check the speakers. Maybe the are just clogged with dried ice cream. With the phone off, inspect and clad the speakers carefully.be sue is is completely dry before turning the phone back on.
