Can I put an iPod 5.5 in 6G Shell?

I have an iPod Video 5.5G that I want to revamp. I'm going to put an SD card in it to boost speed and storage, and while I'm at it I want to replace the shell because mine is old and dirty.

Can I put my guts in a 6G Shell?

I'd move logic board, battery, storage, screen, and click wheel so it seems like it should work but I was hoping someone would be able let me know if it can be done,

I just prefer the look of the newer ones in case anyone is curious.
