4 Why won't my laptop keyboard work?
When I press keys, nothing appears to happen.

First start with the driver, it is the easiest solution. Open Device Manager, if you're using windows, click Start, right click on My Computer, and select Properties. Now click the Hardware tab, then the Device Manager button. Or you can search by clicking Start, then type Device Manager, and press ENTER. Next find your keyboard name under Keyboards. Right click it and select Uninstall. When it is uninstalled, click Action, then click Scan for hardware changes. This will re-install the driver and may help fix the problem. If it doesn't work, you then need to try to figure out if it is a hardware problem. If it's hardware, first plug in an external keyboard via USB, and try using that. If the problem isn't fixed, then the keyboard is not the problem. Since it is a hardware problem, the best way to guarantee a solution is to completely replace the keyboard. However, you may want to seek a professional to do that for you. Any market that sells laptops or PC products are great resources to go to!

Driver and keyboard are good. Touchpad ok.
After restart, all is well.
After sleep or hibernate, keyboard dead.

I have lenovo Z51 and I use this laptop for running my site 365pricefinder.com but today the hash button isn't working suddenly. Any suggestions?
I have this promblem with the keyboard but the thing is im not logged in, I'm at the page where I'm suppose to write my password, so I can't do any of these functions. I've tried turning it off but it doesn't respond
I got a new laptop and after activating Windows 10, the keypad stopped working. I used the Onscreen keyboard to fill in Username and to complete installation.
After that, I went to:
Control panel – ease of access – change how your keypad works – set up filter keys
Click on TURN ON BOUNCE KEYS
Click OK or APPLY
The keypad is working perfectly.
I had the exact problem after a few weeks of an unresponsive keyboard, and your solution got it working again. How in the heck did you figure that out?
In my case only numerics 5 and 6 were working from all numbers. I just pressed AltGr+Ctrl+Windows (or Fn) and it worked perfectly. I am very happy, can't believe.

I had this problem as well! I solved it by pressing these keys: Ctrl+Fn+Alt+The Up Arrow Key!

Ahhh! Thank you! My toddler was sitting in my lap and he started kicking his feet around and then after that certain keys didn't work and I tried every other suggestion on 4 different sites but this finally fixed it!

Hi, I just bought the Lenovo Yoga 510 and I cannot get the keys that are accessed at the top of the numbers to work, on a normal keyboard Shift 2 gets you @ or Shift 4 a $ sign, can anyone help please

I've had my Lenovo laptop for about a year now and all of the sudden the whole keyboard stopped working. Whenever I press down something nothing appears. The only way I unlocked my password was by using the on-screen keyboard. I have tried all of the suggestions listed but nothing is working, I am so mad. Please help!

Hi I've had my lenovo laptop for 2 years now and now when i use the keyboard it wont pop up on the screen it doesn't even or if i use the on screen i'm using my Chromebook, and i have to use my mouse for the arrow to pop up...I NEED AN ANSWER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE PLEASE HELP ME!
