Hi,
My iPod wont turn on. It's showing the apple logo with a black background on the screen. What should I do?
Esta é uma boa pergunta?

first of all: what iPod do you have??
i would try to hard reset it first: toggle the hold switch to on and then to the off position, press and hold the menu and the select button at the same time until the iPod restarts (will take around 6-10 seconds)
(if you have an iPod touch - you need to press and hold the home and the sleep button instead of the menu and select ones)
if that won't help - you have to restorethe iPod with itunes.
put it into disk mode
Putting iPods with a Click Wheel into disk mode
If you have an older iPod model without a Click Wheel
To return it to its normal operating state, you will have to reset iPod.

did you try to put the iPod in disk mode and then restore it ?
some nanos (mostly 4th gen.) stuck there with a different problem - the have the video out always activated - i have not find anything to change that setting, also has nobody wrote that he might tried it with the apple video cable (it needs the newer dock connector cable) - but from there on, it might get problematic. i never had one of those defective devices - it could come from almost anything, a faulty resistor, a fluid damage on the dock connector and so on.
to check if your nano is stuck in video out mode - reset the iPod and right after the reset, press and hold the menu and rewind buttons.
This is happening because of a faulty battery, or because of an accident. have there been any recent water/liquid spills that you are aware of? It could also be because of being exposed to a quick movement or a drop. Done that? Also, have you at any time had it out in hot weather or really cold weather? If none of these seem to ring a bell, it's probably the battery, as it could have been used and charged up too often. Thats why you should NEVER charge your device up unless it's going to be a full charge because this will wear out your iPod's battery!
How long have you had this iPod?
