I replaced the speaker in my galaxy S5. Now I can hear the phone ring but the screen has gone black. I tried taking out the battery and hold down the power button for one minute, and then leaving the battery out for five minutes, but the screen is still black. Are there any other things I can try?

If you had to remove the screen to change the speaker then you've more than likely broken the screen, they're VERY fragile.
If you look at the screen at a shallow angle, you may see a faint crack in the lcd under the glass.
