Recovering pictures from internal storage?

Have a BLU Life One X with NO external SD card..it froze, randomly, and turned off. Never rooted it or did anything out of the scope of an average user. Never even dropped or waterlogged. No way to turn it on, get it in to recovery mode, boot anything...tried holding the power button, power plus volume up, power plus volume down, and all three. It will not turn on. No response even if plugged into a computer or wall charger, not even a charge light. 6 months worth of pictures on it, I'm assuming in the internal storage and nowhere else. Non removable battery. No kind of external SD or memory card. I have a Dropbox and gmail accounts still linked to the phone, but there doesn't seem to be any way to sync SOLELY from my computer. Should I just give up?

Update: possible hope?

So four months after the random shut off, I unearthed the phone looking for something in the box and tried, out of curiosity to turn it on--and it worked! I plugged it in and rebooted it, put in my passcode and made it to my home screen. After getting two notifications and me trying to open up my Dropbox (Which didn't work) the phone froze again. It's been sitting on the homescreen, unresponsive to touch or pressing the power button or anything for about 15 minutes. It even says it's still charging, the LED light is even on, but it's not plugged into anything. Could this be a sign? Can I still save my pictures???

I have never worked on or am familiar with BLU devices, but I always tell my clients.. any time you make videos or take pictures that are important to you...backup backup backup. If you have nothing to automatically sync those files...Do backups manually via bluetooth or by USB.

If these pictures are really important, I would take it to someone who does component level repairs and see if the board can be fixed. Good places should have a no repair no charge policy. If it's repairable you should be able to retrieve your files. If not...It would probably cost too much to be worth recovering.

I just didn't expect to lose the phone so suddenly or so quickly. If it had been any other problem than what it was, I would've been able to figure out how to sync them..the only hope I had is that when I plugged the phone into the computer via USB, my computer made the sound that something was plugged in. However, the phone did not appear on the computer anywhere.

I went to Best Buy and was told there was nothing they could do because the phone had a non removable battery and wasn't "common" (ie: not Samsung or iphone) enough for them to use a replacement battery to try and revive it.

Totally understand. And for future reference, stay away from Best Buy as far as repairs or information. Go on a site like Yelp and look for a reputable shop.
