1 iPhone 5s will not turn on or charge?
My sister in laws Iphone 5s was given to me to repair as it will no longer turn on. She states that randomly over the past few months the phone would just turn off and now it will not turn off or charge when connected. I have tried power/home, different chargers but am without luck. Yesterday it turned on for a brief while but had a blank yellow screen. This phone is just outside of warranty and it is not jailbroken. Does anyone have ideas to how to fix this?

Itunes or computer will not detect phone

I have replaced the battery but it didnt make a difference, didnt even turn on with a new battery inside

Next would be the lightning connector.....

Would just think that the Battery change would have brought a little life to the phone at least temporarily. Will order Lightning connector and report back in a week.

If you have nothing else left to eliminate? And possibly the new battery needed a good charge, I've had some arrive which needed a 30 minute charge before it came to life.
If itunes won't recognise the phone, the charging port may well be dead?
What is strange is the yellow screen?
If she's anything lie all the women I know, did she use the phone in a steamy bathroom? May have some sort of water damage without the indicators going pink, would have no idea how this could be tested though?
You know anyone with a working 5s you could chuck a battery in which you know has charge in it?
