Why is my Blu-ray player freezing up?

"Known Issue"?? WELL THEN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!! Recall, software patch.... SOMETHING, for crying out loud!!!!!

I dont mean to go off on you guys at iFixIt im just frustrated

This also happens to my BP-550 smart disc player. Often I have to disconnect the player from power supply, wait then reconnect it. This often fixes the problem, but sometimes after doing that I proceed to select a service (e.g. Netflix) and it freezes again after I select a video to watch. It just hangs forever.

This is very annoying, happens often. I agree with previous post - IF LG KNOWS ABOUT THIS PROBEM, WHY ISN"T THERE A FIX OR AN EXPLANATION ABOUT HOW TO DEAL WITH IT?

I'm getting sick and tired of it freezing up every 5 minutes can't watch anything without unplugging it and plugging it back in every 5 to 10 minutes it's starting to really !#^& me off LG pull your heads out of your butt and do something about it

You really need to fix this issue. Because its such a pain to have to pull my dresser out to unplug it every time it freezes. And then plug it back in push the dresser back in. Especially for someone with back issues. Not to mention the WIFI hardly ever works. I'm about to go get a Sony or Something. I'm sick of it. Like tonight I'm laying here watching a movie and bam it freezes. And now its going to have to sit like that until morning because my son and my niece are asleep in the same room.
