Why won't my screen turn on

I have same problem and it vibrats and stuff just screen stay's black but when I power off and then back on it lights up just fine until I get to my lock screen then it freezes and eventually turns black aga

I have the same situation, slightly different though, but my phone is an Alcatel one touch evolve 2. So my battery was completely gone and I put it on to charge, charged it up and the screen came on. But after I finished a call it went black again. But when I put it on to charge it didn't come back. So I'm figuring I also need to get my screen replaced as well, do you know how much it would cost, even if its an estimate.

My Alcatel makes the turn on noise and I can do the volume but the screen is black also there is a red mark on the battery it did get a lil overheated but is it still possible the screen will work??

i tought you cant remove the battery on this phone because mine turns off and on but to the screen where you only see the ALCATEL ONETOUCH BY ANDROID and then it turns off and keeps repeating over nd over

The battery disconnects very easily at the small black connector at the top of those little wires. I followed your instructions, and everything works perfectly now. Your advice was perfect. Thanks.

Can't remove battery it says not to remove battery.....

I have a Alcatel one touch Android phone I'm having issue with the phone keeps displaying optimizing apps 1 to 20 and so on then it just goes blank vibrate goes back on just displaying optimizing apps then goes off again but it doesn't display the apps icon display picture. And you can't remove the batter like other phones on the back. Alan

You can't fix this type of battery for this kind of phone unless your a service technician that does this for a living doing it yourself to fix it can harm or damage and void your purchase of your phone.

Yes, I'm having the same problem & I've found that something about leaving it on charge for about 15 minutes, (without pushing any buttons) will make mine come back on. The phone is about a year and a half old (with a lot of use!) and I think the battery is just getting weak and takes more charge to power it now.

I have the same issue, it eventually resolved itself. I had tried holding the buttons in all the ways suggested above, plugged it in over night. Then gave up, a week later for kicks and whistles I plugged it into a charger and it turned back on and has been working since for about 2 weeks.

FYI, unless you purchased the "extra" warranty, the warranty expires after 60 days (which should be illegal). So opening the back, removing the sticker over the battery and prying the battery out and then pushing it back in will eliminatet he need to let it sit until the battery dies.. However if you have the extra insurance, bring it back to the provider and DEMAND it be replaced, they have to acording to the contract, of course tmobile will balk at replacing it because they no longer sell any windows 10 phones at all only android and IOS, therefore demand an S* they will eventually sendy ou one in order to keep you as a customer and not be sued for not having replacement phones for the one you've been paying warranty
